Plan versions: Budgets and Forecasts taken from the Working plan as fixed copies over the months you choose.
Versions list and page: Every version with its months, source and status, and a page for each.
Drafts stay current: Changes to the Working plan flow into every open draft, field by field.
Draft conflict resolution: Where a draft and the Working plan changed the same thing, a finance user keeps one or the other, with a note.
Checks before submitting: Blocking issues, warnings and passed checks, with links to fix them.
Submit, approve and lock: Submit a version with a note; once approved it is locked with its figures, assumptions and rates.
Automatic supersede: Approving a new budget marks the previous one for that year as Superseded.
Latest approved: A source that takes, month by month, the most recently approved version covering each month.
Latest estimate: Actual months from the ledger joined with plan months for the rest of the year.
Scenarios: Private what-if copies of the plan that you can clone and change.
Edit a scenario in the Plan grid: Changes in a scenario apply straight away, with a banner showing which scenario you are in.
Share a scenario: Make a scenario visible to everyone within their own scope.
Archive, restore and delete scenarios: Owners archive or delete their scenarios; unused ones can archive automatically.
Compare scenarios: Compare a scenario with the Working plan or two scenarios over the whole horizon, by positions, run rate or cost.
Where the difference comes from: Break a comparison down by org unit, country, cost component or lever.
Levers: Test hiring delay, salary inflation and attrition on a comparison.
Save levers as a new scenario: Write the levers into a new private scenario.
Adopt a scenario: Turn every difference into changes that follow the approval rules, then archive the scenario.
Year-on-year comparisons: Compare different periods, with annualisation and currency effects shown separately.
